General Terms and Conditions for Participation in the TikTok Giveaway

1. Organizer 

The organizer of the giveaway is BRITA SE, Heinz-Hankammer-Straße 1, 65232 Taunusstein, Germany (hereinafter referred to as "BRITA"). The giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with TikTok.

2. Eligibility 

2.1. Participation is free and voluntary.

2.2. Eligible participants must be at least 18 years of age.

2.3. Employees of the BRITA Group and their relatives are excluded from participation.

2.4. Participation via giveaway services or automated scripts is prohibited.
 

3. Participation 

3.1. The giveaway takes place on the TikTok account @brita_water.

3.2. To participate, the user must perform the actions specified in the respective giveaway post (e.g., liking the post, following @brita_water, posting a comment) within the defined period.

3.3. By participating, the user accepts these Terms and Conditions.
 

4. Giveaway Period 

The duration of the giveaway will be stated in the respective post on @brita_water. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

5. Prizes and Selection of Winners 

5.1.The prize details are specified in the respective giveaway post.

5.2. Winners will be selected at random from all eligible participants.

5.3. Winners will be notified via comment or Direct Message (DM) by @brita_water.

5.4. If a winner does not respond within the timeframe specified in the notification (usually 48 hours), the claim to the prize expires, and a new winner may be drawn.

6. Prize Distribution 

6.1. Prizes will be sent by mail or email. Shipping is only available to the countries specified in the post.

6.2. Cash payment, exchange, or transfer of the prize is not possible.

7. Exclusion of Liability 

BRITA reserves the right to cancel or terminate the giveaway at any time without prior notice if technical or legal reasons prevent its proper execution.

8. Data Protection 

Personal data provided by participants (e.g., name, address, TikTok handle) will be used solely for the purpose of conducting the giveaway and distributing the prizes. Further information can be found in our Privacy Policy.

9. Final Provisions 

9.1. Legal recourse is excluded.

9.2. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
